Krishnamurti spent more than sixty years of his life travelling all over the world, giving insightful talks & holding penetrating dialogues with people spread across five generations from diverse backgrounds. When asked why he carried on doing what he did, he replied,"Out of affection, perhaps...". He said  the teachings were like the flower that gave its fragrance to everything around it. It did not matter if one liked it or did not like it, accepted it or rejected it. It would be a grievious error on the part of a teacher if he were to expect some kind of a change in the listeners.

The teacher is gone but the teachings remain. They are not to be found in a book or in some forgotten manuscript, but essentially in the way we live - freely & passionately, never allowing the flame of attention to be blown out. The mysterious source of energy, intelligence and compassion that came to be associated with Krishnamurti may well be, as he suggested,"right under your very nose!".
